Civil Aviation Resources Network, March 21, 2025: According to Delta Air Lines' official website, China Southern Airlines and Delta Air Lines will terminate their frequent flyer partnership starting August 10, 2025. Agreements such as through baggage check-in and connecting tickets will still exist, and mileage free tickets issued before August 9, 2025 will be valid. All other frequent flyer benefits will be terminated starting August 10, 2025.
Delta Air Lines pointed out that if a passenger takes an eligible flight on a partner airline but does not receive the corresponding mileage points, he or she can submit a mileage application form within 9 months after the flight to make up for it.
